Family and career point was opened in Győr

A family and career point (Család és KarrierPONT - CSAK) was opened in the House of Parents of Győr, which was handed over by the consortium members, Tegyél jót - Szülők Háza AlapítványA befogadó közösségi platform - Kommunió Alapítvány and the Family and Children Welfare Centre of Győr City of County Rank yesterday.
Their aim is to reach a regional labour market situation, which facilitates atypical employment and the return of families with small children – which are disadvantaged in terms of employment – to the labour market in a shorter time, improving the situation of families with small children, all this based on local solutions and cooperation. The interested persons may get customised job search and mental hygiene advices, and may take part in informative days, training, development programmes (among others in the fields of harmonisation of work and private life: self-awareness, communication, conflict solution; comprehensive communication). 71 family and career points are opened nationwide.
The improvement of the situation of women on the labour market is an important area, which was and is expected to be one of the major social and labour issues also in the future. As a result of the significant lack of labour, the employers are much more open to the family-friendly measures than several years ago.
12% of the staff of Julius Globe are women. These mothers of small and many children, often with a large family, can stand on their own feet in the technical world imposing very strict requirements. In the past, as an employer we also often had problems in harmonising the individual needs of female labour with the company’s interests. However, we could reach an agreement and make a compromise almost in every case with those who were able and wanted to take part in the company’s life on a long term, had plans with us for the future, and we allowed them to work part-time and in flexible working time.
We are happy with the initiative, and we hope that the working mothers will be more respected, and getting familiar with the needs of both mothers wanting to work and the employers, trust based on reciprocity can be achieved between the two parties, since the companies making long-term plans and intending to remain market operators permanently must assess the changes of the labour market and accommodate to them as far as possible.
